The Sierra 7 Bipod was designed to give the shooter using larger caliber accurate rifles a suitable support. The concept was developed by Daniel Horner who is one of the best top-level shooters in the country. He listened to snipers from every facet of the Army and Department of Defense to find what they needed in a bipod and developed the Sierra 7. The Sierra 7 Bipod is a technologically, advanced, high-quality shooting platform for serious shooters. One of the revolutionary features of the S7 bipod is its pan feature. There is no play in any direction. Because of the S7’s smoothness when tracking, engaging moving targets, and transitioning from target to target is much easier. By using the tensioning lever on the rear of the S7 the tracking feature can be tensioned from free to locked, or anywhere in-between, in 3/8 of a turn. There is total of 90 degrees of panning, 45 degrees in each direction. There is a rugged stop on each side to ensure that your rifle will always be supported. S7’s tilt feature allows the bipod to rotates smoothly regardless of how much tension is applied to the mechanism. The tilt tension is adjustable from completely free to completely locked in 3/8 of a turn; with an infinite amount of tension adjustment in-between. There is a total of 60 degrees of tilt, 30 in each direction. The S7’s legs are machined to provide maximum strength and precision. Because the outer tubes are made of steel, the legs have virtually no play. This bipod’s design includes a powerful spring to push the inner legs out, providing even more stability.
