The Bulletproof-It High Cut Ballistic Helmet is a light weight version of the ACH and MICH helmets with a high cut design which goes above the ear are of the skull. it is the preferred helmet by Special Forces because of its light weight and requires less impingement from the helmet shell onto headsets. The High Cut Ballistic Helmet meets and complies with NIJ Level IIIA Standards for Protection. This means the helmet has been tested to stop 357 Sig at 1470 ft/second and .44 Magnum rounds at 1430 ft/second from longer barrel handguns. Will not protect against rifle ammunition. Note Small/Medium Size designed for 22″ to 25.5″ skull circumference. Large/XL Size designed for 24″ to 26″ skull circumference.
